Log your outward supplies, inward supplies, ITC and cash requirement for the month. Save each period, jump back to compare, and export a branded PDF working report for filing prep or client records. Your entered GST figures are processed and stored in this browser — they are not intentionally sent to any server. An internet connection may be required to load fonts, analytics and PDF-generation libraries.

Opening ITC balances, reverse charge (per head), late fee & interest. Same per-field limit: INR 99,99,99,999.00.
Separate ledger — offsets cess liability only.
Reverse charge liability (RCM) — always payable in cash; existing ITC never reduces it
Only takes effect when RCM is Paid and ITC-eligible. Eligible RCM cess enters the separate Compensation Cess ITC ledger — it never joins the regular IGST/CGST/SGST pool and never reduces the RCM cash liability it arose from. Verify actual eligibility and GST portal treatment before filing.
RCM tax remains payable in cash. Confirmed eligible RCM ITC may be claimed only subject to payment, eligibility, documentation and applicable return-period rules.
Working estimate only. The method is displayed in the summary and PDF.

Working summary only. This report is a computational working summary and is not an official GST return, tax payment instruction, professional tax opinion or substitute for records on the GST portal. The utilisation engine applies a Rule 88A-based sequence using the information entered. Actual filing treatment, ITC eligibility, portal balances, reversals, restrictions and return-period treatment may differ. Verify all figures and ITC eligibility before filing or making payment.

Additional GST FeaturesPRO
Invoice-level records, amendments, exempt turnover, HSN summary, scheme-aware returns, ITC reversal, automatic interest, GSTR-2B reconciliation, client workspaces and month comparison. Every panel is optional — leave it untouched and the report behaves exactly as before.
1 · Return scheme, due dates and automatic interest
A composition dealer charges no GST and takes no ITC, so switching the scheme to composition sets the output tax heads to zero and replaces them with a turnover-based levy. Interest is computed on the cash tax payable after ITC, and the late fee is uncapped — verify against the portal.
2 · ITC reversal — Rule 37 / 42 / 43
Reversed credit leaves the ITC pool before utilisation. Any amount the pool cannot absorb becomes a cash liability, as a deemed payment under Rule 42/43 would be.
3 · HSN / SAC summary
Built from the HSN/SAC, UQC, quantity and supply type entered in the invoice-level columns. Outward supplies are shown first, then inward.
Upload the GSTR-2B JSON downloaded from the GST portal. Purchases are matched to 2B by supplier GSTIN + invoice number. Missing, extra and value-mismatch lines are listed; nothing is changed automatically unless you choose to apply the difference.
6 · Client workspaces (multiple GSTINs)
Save the current business as a named client, then switch between clients. Saved months are already keyed by GSTIN and period, so each client's months stay separate.
7 · Month comparison and trend8 · Additional data export
Line items with every invoice-level column, and the monthly figures with turnover buckets, HSN totals and reversals — as CSV you can open in Excel.

FAQs
Is this an official GSTR-3B or GSTR-1 filing?
No. This is a monthly working summary and reporting tool. Use it to prepare and cross-check figures before filing on the GST portal.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device. Entered transaction figures are not intentionally sent anywhere. Google Analytics and the PDF library are loaded from the internet — analytics receives standard usage/device information, not your transaction values. Clearing browser data will erase saved months — export your JSON backup first.
How is ITC utilised?
The tool applies a Rule 88A-based sequence as a working estimate: IGST ITC is used first against IGST liability, and any remaining IGST ITC is then used against CGST and SGST/UTGST liability in the order you select. CGST ITC is used against CGST liability and any remainder against IGST — CGST ITC is never applied against SGST/UTGST. SGST/UTGST ITC is used against SGST/UTGST liability and any remainder against IGST — SGST/UTGST ITC is never applied against CGST. Reverse charge, late fee and interest are always cash. Compensation Cess ITC is maintained in a separate ledger and may be used only against Compensation Cess liability. It cannot offset IGST, CGST or SGST/UTGST, and regular IGST, CGST or SGST/UTGST ITC cannot offset Compensation Cess. RCM cess remains payable in cash. Eligible RCM cess may enter the separate Cess ITC ledger only after payment, subject to eligibility, documentation, the selected inclusion setting and applicable GST return-period rules. Verify all amounts and eligibility against GST portal records before filing. This tool is a working summary, not professional tax advice.
Why does the PDF show "INR" instead of the ₹ symbol?
The rupee glyph is not present in the built-in PDF font. To keep every generated report readable everywhere, we use "INR" in the PDF and on the summary.
Can I use this for multiple businesses?
Yes. Change the GSTIN and business name, save the month, and repeat. Each saved month keeps its own GSTIN. Businesses without a GSTIN save under their business name.
What are the supported limits?
Up to INR 99,99,99,999.00 per amount field, 1,000 rows per table, 5,000 saved months, 200-character descriptions and 2,000-character notes. Values outside these limits are rejected with an error — they are never silently changed.
What do the additional GST features add?
Optional extras layered on the same engine: invoice-level columns (document type, number, date, party, GSTIN, place of supply, supply type, HSN/SAC, UQC, quantity), credit and debit notes, exempt / nil / non-GST turnover buckets, an HSN summary, composition (CMP-08) scheme handling, ITC reversal under Rule 37/42/43, automatic interest and late fee, GSTR-2B reconciliation, client workspaces and a month-by-month comparison. Leave them untouched and the report works exactly as before.
Does the GSTR-2B upload send my data anywhere?
No. The JSON file is read in your browser, matched against the purchase rows already on this device, and never uploaded. Nothing is changed automatically — you choose whether to apply any difference as an ITC reversal.

📘 User guide — Monthly GST Summary Lite
Instructions follow your selected language; the complete English reference remains available below each topic.
A working summary for filing prep. Not an official GST return — always verify against the GST portal before filing.
1. Quick start
Enter the business and month, add sales and purchases, review the cash requirement, then save or export the report.
Full English reference
Enter your GSTIN and return period in section 1. (No GSTIN? Tick "Internal report".)
Add your sales in Outward (Sales): description, taxable value, rate, and Intra or Inter. Leave the tax cells empty — they calculate themselves.
Add your purchases in Inward (Purchases) the same way, and set ITC eligible to No for blocked credits.
Enter opening ITC, reverse charge, late fee and interest in section 3 if they apply.
Read Monthly summary — the orange Estimated cash requirement is what you would need to pay.
Click Save month, then Generate PDF report.
Worked example. One intra-state sale of ₹1,00,000 at 18%, one eligible intra-state purchase of ₹40,000 at 18%.
Output: CGST ₹9,000 + SGST ₹9,000. ITC: CGST ₹3,600 + SGST ₹3,600.
Cash: (9,000 − 3,600) × 2 = ₹10,800.

2. Business & period
Use a valid GSTIN, or choose Internal report without one. Saved months are separated by GSTIN and period.
Full English reference
Field
What it does
Business / Legal name
Printed in the PDF header. Remembered on this device.
GSTIN
Checked for structure and checksum. An invalid GSTIN blocks Save, Print and PDF. No GST portal lookup is performed — a valid checksum does not mean the GSTIN is registered.
State / UT
Auto-filled from the GSTIN. If you change it to something else you must tick the confirmation box.
Return period
Required. One saved record per GSTIN + month; save as many periods as your browser storage allows, up to 5,000 records. Invoice-level additional fields add roughly ten strings per row; available browser quota may be reached well before this cap. Export backups regularly.
Report type
Labels the output — GSTR-3B working summary, GSTR-1 outward working, Internal review or CMP-08 working summary. It changes headings and wording, never the maths. Selecting the composition scheme in Additional GST Features forces CMP-08 working; switching back restores your previous regular type.
Internal report
Lets you produce a report with no GSTIN, for internal review.
3. Line items
Enter one row per invoice or rate slab. Leave tax cells blank for automatic calculation; a typed zero is a manual override.
Full English reference
Enter one row per invoice, or one row per rate slab if you are aggregating from your books. Both work — the maths is identical.
Column
Notes
Description
Optional. Up to 200 characters. Appears in the PDF.
Supply value (INR)
Value before tax. Digits with up to 2 decimals.
Rate %
0 to 99. Typically 0, 5, 12, 18 or 28.
Type
Intra = same state → CGST + SGST. Inter = different state → IGST.
IGST / CGST / SGST
Leave blank to auto-calculate. Type a figure only to override.
Cess
Compensation Cess. Never auto-calculated — enter it if it applies.
ITC eligible (purchases)
Set to No for blocked credits under Section 17(5) — motor cars, food and beverages, club membership, works contract for immovable property, and so on. The row still appears in the report, but its tax is excluded from your ITC.
The + 0/5/12/18/28% rows button adds one pre-set row per common slab — handy when you aggregate by rate.
The other table buttons are: + Add row, 📥 Import CSV, 📥 Import invoice sales (sales table only), 📤 Export CSV and 🗑 Clear — Clear empties that table only, never the other one.
4. Blank vs zero — the one rule to remember
An empty tax cell calculates automatically. A zero explicitly means zero tax. Clear the cell completely to restore automatic calculation.
Full English reference
A tax cell behaves differently depending on whether it is empty or contains a typed 0.
You enter
Result
Use it for
(empty)
Calculated from taxable × rate
Almost always — let the tool do the work
0
Stays exactly zero
Nil-rated, exempt or non-GST supplies
1234.50
Used exactly as typed
Matching an invoice that rounds differently
Example. Two rows, both ₹1,00,000 at 18% Intra. Row A's CGST cell is empty → ₹9,000. Row B's CGST cell contains 0 → ₹0. That difference is deliberate.
If a typed figure differs from taxable × rate by more than 2%, you get an advisory warning before the PDF. You can continue — it is a prompt to check, not a block.
5. Adjustments & reverse charge
Enter opening ITC, reverse charge, interest and late fee when applicable. Reverse-charge tax is paid in cash; eligible credit follows the selected paid/include options.
Full English reference
Opening ITC is the credit carried forward from last month, per head.
Reverse charge (RCM) is tax you owe as the recipient — goods transport, legal services, imports and similar.
RCM is always payable in cash. Existing ITC never reduces it, no matter how large your credit balance.
RCM credit is only shown when RCM paid = Yes andITC-eligible = Yes.
It is only added to this period's ITC when you also set Include confirmed eligible RCM ITC to On. This defaults to Off because the correct claim period depends on your circumstances.
Credit arising from an RCM payment never reduces that same RCM cash liability.
Late fee and interest are always cash — ITC can never be used against them.
Notes / remarks (the box beside the utilisation method) is free text up to 2,000 characters. It is printed in the PDF and kept with the saved month; it does not affect any figure.
6. Compensation Cess
Cess uses a separate ledger. Regular IGST/CGST/SGST credit cannot pay cess, and cess credit cannot pay regular GST.
Full English reference
Cess runs in a completely separate ledger:
Cess ITC can only be used against cess liability.
It can never offset IGST, CGST or SGST — and they can never offset cess.
Purchase cess only enters the ledger when that row is ITC-eligible.
Example. Output cess ₹15,000; eligible purchase cess ₹6,000; regular ITC ₹2,00,000.
Cess ITC used ₹6,000 → cess payable in cash ₹9,000. The ₹2,00,000 of regular ITC cannot touch it.
7. How ITC is used
IGST credit is used first. CGST credit cannot pay SGST, and SGST credit cannot pay CGST. Blocked credits are excluded.
Full English reference
A Rule 88A-based working estimate:
IGST credit against IGST liability first.
Any IGST credit left over against CGST and SGST, in the order you pick in ITC utilisation method.
CGST credit against CGST, then IGST. Never against SGST.
SGST credit against SGST, then IGST. Never against CGST.
Cess separately; RCM, late fee and interest always cash.
The method you choose changes how the remainder is split between CGST and SGST — it never changes the total.
ITC utilisation method (section 3) offers four options:
Rule 88A-based default — IGST ITC against IGST first, then the remainder against CGST and then SGST.
CGST first — IGST remainder against CGST, then SGST.
SGST first — IGST remainder against SGST, then CGST.
Proportional — IGST remainder split between CGST and SGST in proportion to the output tax on each.
Actual portal treatment, eligibility, reversals and return-period rules may differ. Verify before filing.
8. CSV format
Keep CSV headers and machine values unchanged. Choose the correct table; review the import, then choose Append or Replace. Enable invoice columns for the additional CSV fields.
Full English reference
The fastest way to get a header row that is guaranteed correct is to click 📤 Export CSV on a table — even an empty one — and use that file as your template. Or download a filled sample in the next section.
The header row is required. Column order may vary; names are matched case-insensitively.
A description containing a comma must be quoted: "Widget, large". A quote inside is doubled: "He said ""hi""".
UTF-8 with or without BOM; CRLF or LF line endings. Excel's "CSV UTF-8" works.
Rejected rows: invalid or negative numbers, scientific notation such as 1e6, more than 2 decimals, rate above 99, an unknown Type, a description over 200 characters.
Import is all-or-nothing: you see a preview of valid and rejected rows first, then choose Append, Replace or Cancel. If you cancel or it fails, your table is untouched.
Old purchase files without a Cess column still import — cess is simply left blank.
9. Sample CSV files
Download sample CSVs to learn the format. Demo figures are examples; clear or replace them before preparing your own report.
Full English reference
Download a filled example, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, replace the rows with your own data, then import it back.
What the sales sample contains
Description,Taxable,Rate,Type,IGST,CGST,SGST,Cess
Intra-state sale - tax auto-calculated,100000,18,Intra,,,,
Inter-state sale - tax auto-calculated,50000,18,Inter,,,,
"Widget, large - comma needs quotes",25000,12,Intra,,,,
Nil-rated supply - explicit zero,20000,0,Intra,,0,0,
Cess-bearing sale - cess typed in,40000,28,Intra,,,,4800
Each sample row demonstrates one rule from section 8 — auto-calculation, quoting, explicit zero and cess. The purchases sample adds eligible and blocked rows.
10. Import invoice sales from the invoice generator
In the invoice tool choose Export monthly GST sales JSON. In Outward sales choose Import invoice sales JSON. Select a business and month, click Review import, check the preview and imported count, then Save month. Full backups use a different format.
Re-importing the same invoice JSON can fill blank invoice details after review. HSN, quantity and customer details are copied only when present in the JSON.
Full English reference
Import invoice line items using 📥 Import invoice sales in Outward (Sales).
In the GST Invoice Generator, choose 📊 Export monthly GST sales and download its JSON file. Use this sales export, not an invoice backup or CSV. The file must be 5 MB or smaller.
Open Outward (Sales) here, click 📥 Import invoice sales, and select the file.
Choose a business card. Each card shows the business name, month, GSTIN if present, invoice count and sales-row count. Search by company, GSTIN or month. Select one card to import into the current draft, or choose Import all invoices — separate saved summaries to import every business/month group into Saved Months.
Select the card’s radio button, then click Review import in the fixed bottom action bar. Scroll the list to see more businesses; the buttons remain visible. Cancel, the close button or Escape leaves the report unchanged.
Review the selected company and month, rows and invoices to import, duplicates skipped, excluded rows and draft invoices. Click Import sales rows (the button includes the actual count) to confirm.
Check the success banner for the number of rows and invoices imported. Verify the taxable sales, GST rates and IGST/CGST/SGST split in the report.
Check Business Details before saving. Enter the business’s valid GSTIN, or tick Internal report — no GSTIN required for an internal report with no GSTIN. Importing a blank GSTIN does not automatically enable that option.
Click Save month to add or update Saved Months. Single-business importing updates the working draft and needs Save month. Import all saves separate business/month summaries automatically after review.
For Import all, review each existing saved month: merge new invoices and skip duplicate line items, replace sales only, or skip the month. Purchases, adjustments and notes remain. New summaries start with zero adjustments and no purchases; a missing GSTIN uses internal-report mode. The completion screen shows businesses, summaries, invoices and line items imported. Choose a summary to load, or keep the current draft. Loading asks before discarding unsaved changes. Export a JSON backup after importing.
Single-business import appends sales only; purchases and adjustments remain. Re-imported sales rows are skipped. To change businesses, first save any report you need, then use Clear Current Month in Monthly summary. On an empty report, confirming import can switch the business details. A populated report blocks a different business or month to avoid mixing records. Saved months and clients are kept when clearing the current month.
Draft and sample invoices may be included. Check the review counts and compare the figures with your records before using the report. This tool produces a working summary, not a GST portal return.
11. Saving & backup
Save month stores the current period in this browser. Export a JSON backup regularly. Restore your own backup using Import backup; clearing browser storage removes local saved data.
Full English reference
Save month stores the report in this browser, keyed by GSTIN + period. Saving the same period again updates it.
Load reopens a saved month. You are warned first if you have unsaved changes.
PDF from the list prints that month and puts your working report back exactly as it was.
New month clears the figures but keeps your business details.
Saved months live in this browser only. Clearing site data, switching browser or using private mode loses them. Click 📤 Export all (JSON) regularly — that file is your backup and restores on any device.
Buttons on the summary and Saved months cards
Button
What it does
💾 Save month
Stores the current report against its GSTIN + period. Saving the same period again updates it. Blocked while any red error is showing.
📤 Export all (JSON)
Downloads a backup of every saved month for this device, plus saved clients. Keep this file.
📥 Import JSON
Restores a backup: choose the file and its saved months and clients are merged into this browser. The same action as Restore from backup in Settings.
+ New month
Clears the figures and business details and starts a fresh period. Saved months are kept.
Clear Current Month
Empties the editor and its adjustments without touching saved months or clients. Use it before switching to a different business.
Export review checklist
Validates the month, shows any advisory warnings, then asks you to confirm and downloads a short checklist (period, row counts, the report context) to review before filing. It does not change the report.
⚙ Settings — storage, backup and restore
Storage used — a meter showing roughly how much of this browser's storage your saved months occupy, with the number of saved months.
Export backup now — the same JSON backup as Export all (JSON); it also resets the reminder timer.
Restore from backup — the same as Import JSON.
Remind me to back up — Off, Weekly, Every 2 weeks or Monthly. When a backup is overdue a banner appears at the top of the page with an Export backup button and a dismiss button; it reappears only after the next interval.
⚠ Clear all saved data — permanently deletes every saved month and client from this browser. You must type DELETE to confirm. Back up first: this cannot be undone.
Clearing all saved data removes saved months and clients; it leaves your theme and language preference. Clearing the browser's own site data removes those too.
12. PDF & print
PDF and Print use the current calculation. Additional schedules appear only when relevant feature data exists. Check the report before filing; the PDF library needs an internet connection.
Full English reference
The PDF has no trial watermark and repeats the on-screen figures exactly, with tables, the ITC utilisation breakdown, closing balances, reconciliation status, your notes and a disclaimer on every page.
Amounts show as INR because the ₹ glyph is missing from the PDF's built-in font.
Generate PDF uses the PDF engine. The Print button and browser menu → Print (Ctrl+P) open the browser print dialog and preserve the selected language, including Hindi and other non-Latin text.
The Print button opens the browser print dialog directly. It prints both sales and purchases and the Additional GST sections in use, with editing controls hidden. Generate PDF remains a separate PDF download.
Characters the PDF font cannot draw
The PDF's built-in font covers Latin letters, digits and the common punctuation above, but not other scripts (Hindi, Tamil, …) or rarer symbols. If any typed text contains a character it cannot draw, a warning lists the affected fields before the PDF is generated; you can continue (those characters appear as ?) or cancel and use Print instead, which keeps every script.
Export review checklist
In the Monthly summary this button validates the month, shows any advisory warnings, then downloads a short checklist of the period, row counts and report context to review before filing. It changes nothing in the report.
13. Limits & error messages
Red blocking errors prevent Save, Print and PDF; fix them first. Amber warnings require confirmation. Read the exact validation message for the field and limit.

Blocking errors (red) stop Save, Print and PDF: invalid GSTIN, missing period, an Intra row carrying IGST, an Inter row carrying CGST/SGST, a state mismatch you have not confirmed, or an amount above the limit.
Advisory warnings (amber) simply ask you to confirm — for example a typed tax that differs from taxable × rate.
14. Privacy
Figures and uploaded JSON are processed locally in this browser. Business data is not uploaded. Fonts, PDF libraries and usage analytics can use the internet.
Full English reference
Every figure you type is processed and stored in this browser only. Nothing you enter is sent to a server. Analytics records that the tool was used — never your GSTIN, business name, amounts or notes. Fonts and the PDF library load from the internet, so a connection is needed for those.
15. Troubleshooting
For unexpected tax, clear manually entered tax cells. Check GSTIN, credit eligibility and CSV headers. Restore missing saved months from your JSON backup.
Full English reference
Problem
Cause and fix
Tax cells show 0 instead of calculating
Something was typed in them. Clear the cell completely to restore auto-calculation.
"GSTIN checksum failed"
A typo. The 15th character is a check digit — re-read the GSTIN carefully.
ITC is lower than my purchase tax
One or more rows are set to ITC eligible = No, so their tax is correctly excluded.
Cash requirement did not drop after adding ITC
Check the head. CGST credit cannot pay SGST, and regular credit cannot pay cess.
CSV import rejected everything
Header row missing or misspelled. Export a CSV from the tool and copy its header exactly.
Invoice sales import says to choose a sales export
Download Export monthly GST sales from the invoice generator. Its full-data backup and invoice JSON files use a different format.
PDF button says "failed to load"
The PDF library was blocked. Use Retry, or use Print instead.
Saved months vanished
Browser data was cleared. Restore from your JSON backup.
16. Additional GST Features · PRO
All panels are optional. Enable invoice columns for document type, number, date, party, GSTIN, place of supply, supply type, HSN/SAC, UQC and quantity.
With Regular selected, the composition rate is ignored. It applies only when you select Composition.
Enter the applicable due date and filing/payment date, then enable automatic updates. The tool estimates interest and late fee and updates them when figures change. These amounts are read-only while enabled; switching it off restores your previous manual amounts. The late-fee estimate is uncapped; review the estimates against the GST portal before using them.
2 · ITC reversal — Rule 37 / 42 / 43
Reversed credit leaves the ITC pool before utilisation. Any amount the pool cannot absorb becomes a cash liability, as a deemed payment under Rule 42/43 would be.
Leave all reversal fields at zero when no reversal is required: “No reversal applied” means this panel does not change the report. Enter known reversal amounts directly under IGST, CGST, SGST/UTGST and cess. Alternatively, enter the Rule 37 and Rule 42/43 amounts and click “Copy Rule 37 + 42/43 into reversal fields”. This uses an estimated split across IGST, CGST and SGST; review and edit that split to match your records. Do not enter the same reversal twice. “Clear reversal” removes these reversal amounts.
3 · HSN / SAC summary
Built from the HSN/SAC, UQC, quantity and supply type entered in the invoice-level columns. Outward supplies are shown first, then inward.
4 · Exempt / nil / non-GST and zero-rated turnover
Taxable, zero-rated, nil-rated, exempt and non-GST outward turnover are separate buckets. Excess credit notes need review; composition levy excludes non-GST turnover.
5 · GSTR-2B reconciliation
Upload the GSTR-2B JSON downloaded from the GST portal. Purchases are matched to 2B by supplier GSTIN + invoice number. Missing, extra and value-mismatch lines are listed; nothing is changed automatically unless you choose to apply the difference.
6 · Client workspaces (multiple GSTINs)
Save the current business as a named client, then switch between clients. Saved months are already keyed by GSTIN and period, so each client's months stay separate.
7 · Month comparison and trend
Comparison uses saved months for the current business, not unsaved draft changes. Save each period to update its taxable, tax, ITC and cash trend.
8 · Additional data export
Line items with every invoice-level column, and the monthly figures with turnover buckets, HSN totals and reversals — as CSV you can open in Excel.
Full English reference
Everything in the Additional GST Features card is optional. With every control left as it is, the report behaves exactly as the basic version does. Turn on invoice-level columns to reveal, in both line tables: document type (invoice / credit note / debit note), document number and date, party name and GSTIN, place of supply, supply type, HSN/SAC, UQC and quantity.

1 · Scheme, due dates, automatic interest
Switch between the regular scheme and composition (CMP-08). Composition charges no GST and takes no ITC — the output tax heads go to zero and a turnover-based levy is added to cash instead. Enter the due date and the filing date and the tool writes interest (18% p.a. on the cash tax) and late fee (₹50/day, ₹20/day for a nil period) into section 3.
2 · ITC reversal (Rule 37 / 42 / 43)
Reversed credit leaves the ITC pool before utilisation. Any amount the pool cannot absorb becomes a cash liability, as a deemed payment under Rule 42/43 would be. The Rule 37 and 42/43 boxes collect the two amounts and one button splits them across IGST / CGST / SGST.
Groups the invoice-level rows by HSN/SAC and UQC with quantity and tax, for outward and inward supplies, and exports the summary as CSV.
4 · Exempt / nil / non-GST turnover
Shows the GSTR-3B 3.1 outward buckets — taxable, zero-rated, nil-rated, exempt and non-GST — separately, so the same value is never counted twice. A credit note larger than the month is surfaced here rather than silently absorbed.
5 · GSTR-2B reconciliation
Upload the GSTR-2B JSON from the GST portal. Purchases are matched to 2B by supplier GSTIN + invoice number, with a fallback match on exact amounts for rows that carry no invoice number. Matched, mismatched, only-in-2B and only-in-books lines are listed with the total ITC difference. Nothing changes until you choose to apply the difference as an ITC reversal.
6 · Client workspaces
Save the current business as a named client and switch between clients. Saved months are already keyed by GSTIN and period, so each client keeps its own months.
7 · Month comparison and trend
A bar trend and table of every saved month's taxable value, output tax, ITC and cash requirement.
8 · Additional data export
Line items with every invoice-level column, and the monthly figures with turnover buckets, HSN totals and reversals, as CSV.
The generated PDF gains a Additional GST schedule page with the turnover buckets, ITC reversal, HSN/SAC summary, credit notes and the GSTR-2B result whenever those panels hold data. Check every additional figure against GST portal records before filing.
Pro Reports & Business Insights
Preview or export the current month. Annual reports use saved months for the selected business only; missing months remain blank. Upload GSTR-2B before generating reconciliation.
Choose a report, check the business and period, then preview before downloading CSV or PDF. Monthly reports use current entries. Annual Business Summary uses saved months for the selected business and April–March financial year; save edits first. Missing months remain blank. Upload GSTR-2B for reconciliation and exception reports.
For registers, choose businesses and a month or date range; undated entries are excluded from date ranges. Credit notes deduct amounts. Save Month after entering reviewer, checklist, notes or actual payments so JSON backups retain them. These records do not change GST calculations.

Report types. Purchase Register, GSTR-2B Exception Report, Credit / Debit Note Register, GST-Rate Summary, Monthly Reconciliation Checklist, GST Payment Records and Invoice Register Report are working documents for the loaded business and month. Monthly Overview, Tax-Payment Breakdown and GSTR-2B Reconciliation Report use current on-screen figures. Annual Business Summary uses saved months for the selected business; pick a financial year with the Financial year (April–March) selector for the annual report. Every report can be previewed, downloaded as CSV or PDF, or printed using Print selected report. Both report Print buttons and Monthly summary Print open the browser print dialog directly. Download PDF creates a separate PDF file.

CA Reports & Export Package
Choose Purchase Register, GSTR-2B Exception Report, Credit / Debit Note Register, GST-Rate Summary, Monthly Reconciliation Checklist or GST Payment Records. Each preview, PDF, print and CSV has its own report heading, business/GSTIN and period. Purchase registers support the business and date filters. The other CA reports use the loaded business and current month.
Enter review checkboxes, reviewer/date/notes or actual payment amount/date/challan reference in the relevant report fields, then Save Month to retain them. These records are included in JSON backups and do not change GST calculations. Download CA package creates a ZIP for the loaded business/current month containing PDFs, CSVs, a current-month JSON snapshot, README and file index. Unloaded GSTR-2B reports are disclosed as missing. Keep original invoice and payment evidence separately.
Invoice Register Report
Select Invoice Register Report under Pro Reports & Business Insights. Choose the current business or selected businesses, then a month or custom date range. Enable Include item details for item-by-item rows. Use Preview report, Download CSV, Download PDF or Print invoice register.
The loaded business/month uses current on-screen sales; other months use saved data. Each business has a separate section, ordered by month, invoice date and invoice number, with monthly subtotals and a business total. Use Select all businesses or Clear selection when selecting businesses. Credit notes deduct amounts. Totals show taxable value plus GST, not the cash requirement after ITC or fees. Rows without dates are excluded from custom date ranges. Rows without invoice numbers appear individually and may make the document count incomplete. Imported draft invoices are included.

Report selection and export checks
Check the loaded business and month before choosing a report. Use Monthly Overview for totals and Tax-Payment Breakdown for ITC utilisation, cash tax, RCM, interest and late fee.
Use Purchase Register for inward entries, Invoice Register for outward entries, Credit / Debit Note Register for adjustments, and GST-Rate Summary for rate-wise supply and tax totals.
Use GSTR-2B Reconciliation for aggregate book/portal comparisons and GSTR-2B Exception Report for unmatched or mismatched entries. Upload portal JSON first; importing it does not automatically change purchases or ITC.
For Annual Business Summary select the financial year (April–March). Save each month's edits first. Missing or invalid months are disclosed rather than treated as zero.
Preview after changing entries or filters, then choose CSV, PDF or Print selected report. Generated PDFs repeat table headers, paginate wide reports and show page counts. Exports include “Generated at gstcalculators.in” with generation date and time. Browser print pagination depends on browser support; check print preview.
The CA ZIP contains available reports, CSVs, a current-month JSON snapshot and a file index. It is not an all-business backup: use Settings → Export backup now for that. Missing GSTR-2B reports are listed. The package needs the PDF library and may require the feature to be enabled.
