Bulk GST Calculator Pro
Turn a spreadsheet into a clear GST breakdown. Import, review and calculate multiple rates in one workspace.
Import or paste rows
Choose your calculation settings
Each row can override these defaults. Enter the combined GST rate, for example 18 for CGST 9% + SGST 9%.
Edit a cell and leave it to recalculate. Direct amount is the default; choose Quantity × price when needed. Enter positive values for returns and select Return / Credit.

CSV and Excel include every input row and its validation status. Errors have no calculated results. Excel adds invoice and rate summaries. For PDF, choose “Save as PDF” in your browser's print dialog.
How this calculator works
Inclusive prices, cess and discounts
Exclusive: base = amount after discount. Inclusive: base = (amount after discount − fixed cess × quantity) ÷ (1 + GST% / 100 + cess% / 100). Inclusive prices must include both GST and all cess. Percentage cess is applied to the base; fixed cess is charged per unit. Both can apply together.
Discounts reduce the entered amount before tax extraction or addition. For inclusive rows, the discount applies to the tax-inclusive price; for exclusive rows, it applies to the pre-tax price. Use only discounts eligible for your tax treatment.
Mixed rates and combined totals
Enter a separate row for each rate. Do not enter a combined mixed-rate invoice total as a single inclusive row. This tool provides no combined-total reverse calculator; invoice summaries only add independently calculated rows. It cannot detect different rates hidden within a single entered amount.
Rounding and returns
Base, each tax component and cess are rounded to two decimals per row, then summed. CGST and SGST are rounded equally; their sum is GST. The total always equals the rounded components. Inclusive totals may differ by a few paise from the entered price; the reconciliation is shown above. Return / Credit makes that row's results negative.
Imports, saving and privacy
CSV and Excel imports use a column-mapping step. For pasted rows without headers, uncheck “First row contains column headings” and assign columns by position. Choose the worksheet when importing an Excel workbook. Blank optional numeric values mean zero; missing GST rates or amounts are errors.
Your draft is saved on this browser when storage permits. Clearing browser data removes it. Export a JSON backup regularly. A restored backup replaces the current batch after confirmation. Files are processed locally; this tool does not upload your accounting data. CSV exports protect text beginning with spreadsheet formula characters.
Tax assumptions and sources
This is an arithmetic utility, not a GST filing or classification service. Enter the applicable GST and cess rates yourself. Rates are not automatically determined from HSN/SAC. Custom GST rates from 0 to 100% are supported. This edition uses INR and is in English.
Check eligibility, supply type, cess rules and discount treatment against current requirements. Sources: CBIC CGST Rules, including Rule 35 and GST e-invoice validation reference. Verify subsequent amendments before filing.
